At the Wine Society, the vibe that the Hidden Vine was known for has been extended outdoors, with a parklet setup that closely mimics a luxe home library. Seats in the parklet can be reserved, including those in front of the fireplaces. San Francisco Wine Society is open at 408 Merchant Street Tuesday through Saturday, from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and until 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
We currently offer an exceptional deal for a German rosé. This is a Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Pfalz Rosé 2019 from VDP wine maker Ernst Loosen. The Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé is a true rosé, made with a brief maceration before pressing to extract color. It is light and refreshing, with deliciously bright berry and fruit flavors and a clean, zippy finish. It's perfect for holiday meals, especially when ham is involved. The Pfalz is a very warm and sunny region, often called the "Tuscany of Germany," so all of the Pinot varieties do well here. James Suckling gives it 90 points and notes the following: "With or without an ice cube on a hot day, this is very charming. Pretty, berry and floral notes, the palate juicy with lively, citrusy acidity, supported by a gentle spritz. Barely off dry. Drink now. Screw cap. (9/16/20)". The wine usually retails around $18 and we are offering it at $10. If you would like to take advantage of this exceptional offer, please contact us on this email: firstname.lastname@example.org or follow this link.
